How to fix QuickBooks Error 3371 Status code 11118

This error may occur again during the process of cloning of dataon the drive C:/ to another new hard drive. Then, tis error can be resolved by deleting entitlement file and re-entering license information.

Intuit searches for particular file named Qbregistration.dat file as it contains your license information. You will face this problem if this gets damaged.
MSXML component is needed by QB desktop to run on your system as it is an essential component provided by Microsoft. You will face this problem if this gets damaged.

Steps To Fix QuickBooks Error 3371

Two different solution procedure will be displayed by two error dialog box. These two solutions are:

And the second is suggestion to search for help on the website.

These solutions are not efficient to resolve this error. So we are describing the procedure here to resolve it.

First Method

Press window key + R on your keyboard.
A window will open after this.. Enter (or copy and paste) here C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v8
You will reach window explorer at following location
Just delete this ecml file. Do a right click and select Delete. Close the window now.
After performing this step, Run QuickBooks, Register the product again.

Second Method

If the error still pursue, you can follow the second method as given below:

Click on window icon, Start button
Select All Programs > Window update
Click on check for updates
After successful update, reinstall QuickBooks Desktop again.

Perform clean install.
